Default The transparent OLED from LG and Samsung

OLED technology is often touted as a technology is the future of our screens, despite restrictions that manufacturers must still learn to brave. In this context, LG and Samsung continue to work around the OLED screen and come to unveil a major breakthrough since both are present prototype transparent OLED displays. The LG model has a diagonal of 15 inches, the Samsung a tiny 2-inch diagonal. Of course, no date marketing is still mentioned, but both manufacturers have emphasized the importance of their discoveries for the future of the screen industry.

However, the screens presented did not display full transparency, but rather around 30%. A rate that still allows distinguishing clearly enough what is behind the screen. Technically, the manufacturers use two translucent sheets between which they trap the light emitted by the positive and negative electrodes. But if the technology is impressive, it remains to find practical applications, which is far from clear apart from the aesthetics of the thing. Finally, specify the screen resolution from Samsung is 176 x 220 pixels, for LG, he only said that the screen could be incorporated into some smaller laptops.
