While competitors fight with tooth and nail to get the highest and finest motherboard with the new storage interfaces, USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps MSI sit quiet in the boat. MSI says it sees no reason to support the new format even after Intel delayed its integrated support for USB 3.0 up to 2011 seem to be only those with these thoughts.
SATA 6Gbps is perhaps a more recent technology, but after that we have now seen what the first-generation SATA 6Gbps devices can or can not, perform, we have difficult not to see a certain logic in the MSI's stance.
If solid-state devices with support for SATA 6Gbps not show up until next year, the motherboard already launched not be much more than good advertising pillar for the new formats.
We obviously hope that the two storage formats will be felt in the past but we while have a full understanding of the MSI's line of thought.
