MSI will soon start marketing the P55-GD55, a motherboard based on Intel P55 chipset and therefore for the Core processors and i5 Core i7 Socket LGA in 1156.

Connectors with four DDR3-2133, the P55-GD55 has two PCI-Express x16 (CrossFire compatible), three PCI-Express x1 and two PCI slots. Six SATA 3 Gbps connectors are also available, and a PATA port, two eSATA ports and 7.1 audio controller and Gigabit Ethernet. This motherboard has finally APS (Active Phase Switching) and Genie OC (overclocking).Expected in the coming weeks, the P55-GD55 should be marketed at around 100 euros.
