If four years ago, someone from analysts or journalists working in the IT-field, predicted that the company Acer Inc. win first place in the mobile market, this statement would be greeted with at least suspicion. But now, almost no one doubts that.

Recently, chairman of Acer Dzh.T.Van (JT Wang) told the press that the manufacturer believes the goal to achieve before the end of 2009 sales of 30 million components too much achievable, and is confident that the company has reached an unique goal of fetching number one among suppliers of mobile computers in 2010. To achieve this, the company is confident going into next year shipped more than 40 million netbooks and notebooks, which ultimately should increase its total revenue by 15%.

While this task may seem very ambitious and achievable, it should be noted that Hewelett Packard, the current number one player in the mobile market, also plans in 2010 to ship 40 million units.Dzh.T.Van certainly aware of this fact, however, as he told reporters, Acer intends to exceed the targeted delivery of a medium-sized HP notebooks and netbooks Ultra-Low Voltage (ULV), rather than large power hungry laptops.

That does not mean that Acer will not release new models of laptops. In the network there are rumors about the upcoming series with the operating system Windows 7, named Aspire Timeline, with capacitive touch screens. Sources claim that the model Aspire 1420P, Aspire 1820PT and Packard Bell Butterfly Touch will be released within the next few weeks. In the following photos show notebook Aspire 1420P.

Earlier this year, according to a report from Taiwanese sources, the manufacturer predicted that 2010 sales of Acer notebooks range from 33 million to 37 million units. Nevertheless, very good results for the second quarter gave the manufacturer the opportunity to declare that he can start the next decade with an excellent result in 40 million. At the same time, Acer expects its competition with HP will ultimately create a wider gap between the two leading companies, and Dell, which is the last quarter is in third place.
