Gelid unveils today a new heat sink, the Tranquillo that takes a round shape. It is based on a copper base connected by four heat pipes (also copper) to a large block of aluminum fins. A fan PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) of 120 mm operating between 750 and 1500 rpm will remove the residual heat. Its engine standard HDB (Hydro Dynamic Bearing) will guarantee a good life and allows him not to exceed 25.5 decibels of noise.
Fixings for Intel socket LGA 1366, 1156 and 775 are provided in the bundle, as well as for sockets 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2 + and AM3, AMD. Gelid guarantees its Tranquillo for nearly 5 years.
