The manufacturer Thecus has recently marketed the N2200, a NAS relatively complete, able to accommodate two SATA hard drives in 3.5 inch or 2.5 inches, for a maximum of 4 TB of data.

User-friendly features

Offering several types of RAID (RAID 0, 1 and JBOD), the N2200 supports hot swap, hot plug, and auto-rebuild. It also has a Gigabit Ethernet connector and an LCD screen, allowing the latter to know the state of the network connection or the progress of copying files via one of its four USB 2.0 ports.

Supports UPnP, the N2200 also incorporates an FTP server; iTunes server, a server and a Web picture download manager, HTTP / FTP / BitTorrent / eMule. Finally we note the possibility of connecting IP cameras or USB to create its own monitoring network. Count still around 180 euros to acquire this toy...
