Psystar has announced a few days ago a program, Rebel EFI, which allows (in theory) to install Mac OS X (10.6) on any PC. Even if our efforts have resulted in failure, the idea is interesting. Except that Psystar violated the open source license. Indeed, the author of boot-132 shows that the Rebel uses EFI code of their tool (for installing Mac OS X on any PC) but the license number is not respected. Indeed, boot-132 is under an open source license (Apple Public Source License APSL) and Psystar does not provide sources with the program, which are compulsory with this license.

In fact, we note especially that Psystar, in addition to being in litigation with Apple about licensing the Mac OS X is not very consistent with the open source licenses. It remains to see the defense of society and how this story will conclude.
