Intel was one days of good criticism after it launched its TRIM updated firmware for its second-generation solid-state devices. Then discovered a serious bug in the firmware for the new 34nm units that could provide data corruption and make the device unavailable to the user. Firmware picked down immediately and Intel has since October 27 been working on finding a solution to the problem. Now they say they have managed to identify the bug in the software, but still have not managed to obtain a final solution to the problem.
Bug only seems to affect systems with 64-bit version of Windows 7 is high on Intel's list of priorities as a new statement of its solid-support forum.
Even if you still can not nail in a working firmware update can be seem now to be fairly close to a solution.
