More and more manufacturers adopt the USB 3.0 and SATA 6 Gbps. Today is the turn of the manufacturer ECS to submit its own controller cards supporting these new standards.
One of the two maps presented by ECS has two USB 3.0 ports with a chip NEC UPD720200. For its part, the other card has a SATA 6 Gbps "internal" and one eSATA port, all thanks to a chip Marvell 9123. We note in passing that the cards are PCI-Express 2.0 1x, the speed shall in all cases bridled at 500 Mb / s. The 6 Gbps SATA and USB 3.0 are able to recall at speeds up -- Theoretical - 600 Mb / s.
