So far known of EX58-EXTREME 2, the future motherboard high-end Gigabyte has officially been renamed GA-X58A-UD7. This name change is accompanied fortunately no changes to its technical characteristics.

From X58 high-end

Based on an X58 chipset and ICH10 Southbridge, the motherboard for Core i7 processors on socket LGA 1366. Compatible Quad SLI and CrossFireX, the GA-X58A-UD7 has six DDR3 slots, four PCI-Expresses x16, two PCI-Express x1, one PCI slot, six SATA 3 Gbps connectors, four SATA 6 Gbps ports, two USB ports 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet controllers (x2), FireWire and Audio 7.1.

There are also two eSATA ports and buttons Power and Clear CMOS placed directly on the PCB. Finally, note the presence of a waterblock on the chipset of this motherboard. Expected for the holiday season.
