With Apple now unleash their latest major update of Mac OS X operating it with a lot of bug fixes and other news. But perhaps one of the most sensational news is what operating system does not support any more, which fact is Intel's popular Atom CPU budget. Apple has thus locked out Atom processors of the Mac OS X 10.6.2 and the reason for this is not something officially gone out with, but we have our suspicions.
Apple did not appreciate the users who are running a "Macintosh"-system where you install Mac OS X on an ordinary PC. But most of all, the manufacturer has always been convenient to just netbook market because of its substandard hardware platform, with Intel's Atom processor in the lead.
It may be that Apple simply does not want the Atom users will be irritated by the performance of Mac OS X that was never meant for this hardware. But the only thing we know for certain today is that Mac OS X 10.6.2 does not install on netbooks, or other systems with Intel's Atom processor.
