Just a few days, AMD plans to introduce its new flagship graphics accelerator called the ATI Radeon HD 5970, which fixes the superiority of the products on the market of high-performance graphics cards. The Radeon HD 5970, code-named "Hemlock" is a card with two GPU, codenamed "Cypress", connected by a configuration identical CrossFireX.

These graphics chips that are based on 40 nm process technology will be universal and 1600 processors, and each will have 256-bit memory interface GDDR5, which connects the GPU with 2GB of memory, that is just for your video card 4GB. Frequencies of dual-chip monster will be different from the frequencies of its predecessor's single-chip, Radeon HD 5870. The new dual-chip graphics card will be different from other cards not only "filling", but also the appearance.
