Intel will launch three processors Arrandale engraved in 32nm, Core i7 640 (1.2GHz), Core i7-620UM (1.06 GHz) and Core i5-520 UM (1.06 GHz).

Arrandale

These models are different from those we reported in our news (see "Five Core i7/i5" Arrandale "in early 2010). They are for ultraportables and their frequency is less important to optimize consumption.

The respective prices of these processors to the middle and upper range will be $ 305 (approx. € 205), $ 278 (approx. € 187) and $ 241 (approx. € 162) for an amount of one thousand units. They are expected in the first half of next year and should be followed by other processors of the same family during the third quarter of 2010.

Previously, the company expects to launch its Core 2 Duo SU9600, SU9400 and SU7300, SU4100 and SU2300 Pentium, and the single-core Celeron 743, during the last quarter of this year. This was reported in all cases it claims that Intel also wants netbooks continue to run around $ 500 on release of its platform-Pine Trail in the first half of 2010.
