In June, the exhibition Computex, were first shown netbooks based on the successor to the processor Atom, a chip such as SoC (system-on-chip), and now sources published some data indicating that the company Lenovo is preparing to release a new model based on upcoming platform Pine Trail.
The future netbook, Lenovo will have a screen diagonal of 10.1 "and a resolution of 1024x600 pixels, a processor with a frequency of 1.66GHz Pineview, 2Gb DDR2 memory and hard drive Seagate 250GB capacity. On the available photos can be seen as quite a large keyboard that looks like Chiclet keyboard of old calculators and broad, smooth touchpad with no buttons.
As the spring, judging by their appearance, it may be one of the touch panels Synaptics ClickPad, which were shown at Computex. Entire surface ClickPad acts as one big button, and for "pressing the left mouse button" to click on the panel regardless of the position of your finger. To "press the right button, the user must simply put pressure on the panel with two fingers.
It is expected that the new netbooks, Lenovo, and possibly other devices with similar touch-screen hit the market in mid-2010. With no buttons netbook manufacturers will be able to build into their models, larger and more comfortable keyboard.
