nVidia paper presented HPC version of its next-generation architecture, known as Fermi. HPC GPGPU under the brand Tesla 20 appears on the market in the second quarter of 2010. Similarly, Tesla 10 series set up by the GT200, in Tesla 20 will be one GPU, and in one 1U rack can be used up to four GPU. Single-chip model with the names of Tesla C2050 and C2070 will be a video card with interface PCI-Express Gen-2, intended for workstations. In these models will be up to 3GB or 6GB GDDR5 memory, respectively (when the ECC 2.6 GB and 5.2 GB), their performance in the calculation of double-precision floating-point is about 520Gflop and 630Gflop.

As expected, the new product nVidia does have some advantages compared to processors, especially with regard to double-precision calculations. However, the manufacturer has not yet mentioned the competition between the products of GPGPU. It is also worth noting that, judging from the remark at nVidia, playing next-generation GeForce graphics cards will come in the first quarter of 2010.
