Gigabyte is one of the most solid motherboard offerings, which some might call overwhelming. Now it has launched a new top model with Intel's enthusiast X58 chip which houses the Intel LGA1366-based Core i7 processors. Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 looks to be a complete orgy of functionality including the manufacturer boasts of support for 6Gbps SATA and USB 3.0 which even Gigabytes USB Power Boost technology will provide better compatibility and drive of different USB devices.
The card also has four PCI-Express x16 slots that support NVIDIA 3 Way SLI and ATI CrossFire. In order to maximize the card's stability and overclocking potential, using Gigabyte's Ultra Durable 3 design with extra copper in the circuit board, while the chipset cooler is a hybrid that can make use of both air and water.
A power supply with 24 stages feeder processor while 2 separate phases are assigned to the six DDR3 memory slots, and 2 phases for Intel's X58 chipset.
The price of Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 expected to be around SEK 3,000 and should be in stores shortly.
