Citrix has just introduced a new version of Dazzle and Receiver.

Competition

A week after the update of VMware View (see "New VMware VDI client), it is the turn of Citrix to present its software solutions using VDI.

Dazzle

The company first introduced a new version of Dazzle that works with XenDesktop on Mac or Windows and allows you to quickly access the applications that the company has made available to the employee on the virtual desktop.

Receiver

She then presented an update of Receiver which is a program running on operating systems from Apple and Microsoft, but also on the iPhone, Blackberry and Android smartphones. This is a client to connect to offices virtualized from a window that runs along the applications on the hard disk of the machine of the employee.

Such new versions will be available by December free for owners of Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp. The firm also took the opportunity to publish XenDesktop 4 announced last October (see "XenDesktop 4: VDI flexible").
