Graphics card manufacturer Galaxy seems to have intended to send out a cat among the ermines by Christmas. While AMD and their partners are doing everything to try to fill a hungry graphics card market with its GeForce 5000 series, and not least the worst, no new GeForce 5970 Galaxy has schemed with Nvidia. It has on its official website revealed a new graphics card design with dual graphics chips, and a 512-bit memory interface.

Some rumors have spoken of Fermi-based cards, but more likely this is a response to ASUS March. A card that was in fact made up of two GeForce GTX 285 GPUs. Which would explain the memory system and the double circles? With an even number of memory chips (16 pieces), it is not a new GeForce GTX 295 cards as this makes use of odd number of memory chips. Memory chips are drawing to judge GDDR3 chips, which would strengthen the theory of a dual GTX285 cards. It looks at least not like being a "PhysX graphics cards" like the Asus recently launched.

Galaxy is in addition to a drawing on the card also released two photos of a new cooler that looks to be developed just for this new card. Galaxy argues that the radiator is full power with 480W heat which sounds pretty crazy. But with two 8-pins power connectors, there is at least the potential to benefit significantly more than 300W.

Card to be called a "masterpiece" by him to be launched before Christmas, but more than that would not reveal the current situation.

Without a doubt it will in any case a nice contrast to all the fast AMD cards on store shelves, though we probably could count on quite limited availability, especially in our long country.
