The manufacturer Verbatim has unveiled several new SSD ExpressCard format.Showing capacities of 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB SSD these are therefore aimed at laptops lately, with a compatible connector.
Encryption AES 256-bit
Boasting a system of hardware data encryption AES 256-bit, these SSDs are relatively "safe." Thus, after 10 unsuccessful attempts to enter the password, the data will be automatically deleted and formatted the SSD. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not indicate the transfer speeds that are able to reach these new products or the type of controller used.
Verbatim should initially launch the 16GB version and 32GB of these "Secure ExpressCard SSD, at respective prices of £ 90 and £ 160. The 64GB version will come later...
