Microsoft has now released a stark version of its Windows Home Server Power Pack update 3rd it published a beta version at the end of July and had hoped to get the sharp version, completed in conjunction with the launch of Windows 7. The reason for this was that PP3 gives a lot of benefits just for Windows 7 users with the benefit of several nice features in Microsoft's new operating system.
Microsoft has been including a library feature in Windows 7, which means that all computers in a Home Server connector has direct access to shared documents on the storage server.
Other nice features are scheduled backup Windows 7 in which a computer can be set to wake up a backup and automatically revert to sleep mode when is completed. It also has improved integration with Windows Media Center with automatic storage of recorded TV and a directly into MCE interface.
A complete review of the Power Pack 3 available on Microsoft's website and will be automatically installed on WHS systems with Power Pack 2, from 24 November.
