Acer, the second largest player in the projector market in India (according to the Pacific Media Associates report for Q2), has augmented its product line by introducing its Value Series projectors-X1161 and X1261. These projectors showcase highly detailed text and images with a 2500 ANSI Lumens brightness, a contrast ratio of up to 4000: 1 and native XGA/SVGA resolution.

The X 1161, in comparison to its contemporaries, offers the best in terms of Contrast Ratio (4000: 1), Data compatibility (UXGA, WXGA, WXGA+, WSXGA+), Keystone Correction (of up to +1- 40 Degrees), the longest Lamp Life (Standard/Eco) of 3000/4000 hours. The X 1161 is also very low on its power consumption - only 224 watts, and is possesses six colour segments.

The colour performance by the Value Series projectors is enhanced on any surface, even on coloured walls, with Acer Color Boost II+ technology and wall-colour compensation, in addition, to ColorSafe technology that prevents colour decay resulting from extended use of the projector. Another value-add feature is the Acer EcoProjection technology that reduces standby power consumption by up to 50 per cent while delivering excellent performance. These projectors are also equipped with features of Auto Keystone correction and Auto Ceiling Mount correction.
