During the first quarter of next year we will first see how DDR3-based memory modules account for most sales on the market. According to analyst firm iSuppli, the sales of DDR3-based memory with 1 GB memory chips will amount to 46% of all shipped memory modules, rather fleshy growth from the 8% we recorded in the first quarter of 2009. During the second quarter, more than 50% of all memory modules sold with 1 GB chip to use DDR3 technology.
At the end of 2010 is expected to take over grew to 71% of the market to DDR3 technology advantage, as, among other things, Intel pumps out new platforms to support the latest memory technology.
