Zotac just introduced its GeForce 220 GT Zone Edition. The new reference features a large aluminum heatsink that covers almost the entire surface. The GT216 inside this graphics card has 48 stream processors. It is coupled to 1024 MB of DDR2 related to the GPU via a bus 128 bits wide. The frequencies are 625 MHz core, 1360 MHz for shaders and 800 MHz for memory.

The blue PCB that GeForce is compact; it fits in the format of its PCI Express x16 slot. If playing with this solution DirectX 10.1 is not really recommended, however, we can harness the power of its stream processors for decoding high-definition stream (thanks to PureVideo HD), as part of a Home Cinema PC.
