This is a long time since NVIDIA has not launched a product generating enthusiasm. Direct consequence, the partners of the firm to the chameleon did not matter much to offer innovative products. They must then compete ingenuity to differentiate themselves from each other, with some obviously more successful than others.

Sparkle had started a few months of 9600 and GeForce 9800 GT Low Profile format. The Taiwanese company returns with a more powerful, based GeForce GTS 250. The graphics card therefore includes a G92b with 128 stream processors and 512 or 1024 MB of GDDR3 connected via a bus 256 bits. It still consumes more than its PCI Express x16 can offer and therefore requires an external power connector 6-pin PCIe. The frequencies are 600 MHz core, 1500 MHz for shaders and 800 MHz (1024 MB) or 900 MHz (512 MB) for memory. Level connections, there is a DVI and HDMI. The heat sink is compact but thicker, the card occupies two slots.

Sparkle The solution will be perfect for a compact computer using PC Home Cinema, PureVideo HD technology found in the GeForce GTS 250 in effect provide welcome assistance to the CPU for decoding HD streams. We must hope that the games do not suffer too much frequency lowered (738/1836/1100 MHz default). Apart from DirectX 10 (Shader Model 4.0) also supports the GeForce PhysX technology, CUDA and 3D Stereo.

Sparkle unfortunately does not specify when and how the new Low Profile graphics card is available.
