Chip Llano Fusion could become the first chip that supports USB 3.0, at least among the chips manufactured by AMD. Already it is clear that the south bridge SB850, which appears in the middle of 2010, supports only USB 2.0, and the manufacturer will require at least another year to get a new chip that can support USB 3.0.

AMD has not sought to declare a large number of people, however, according to the source, Hudson M2, Southbridge Llano APU, really will support USB 3.0. Chipset supports many USB ports, more specifically ─ 16 pieces, as well as 6 ports SATA, RAID, 4 PCI and PCIe has a built-in clock generator. This chipset will probably be used for both mobile and desktop versions of Llano.

It looks like 2011 will be a good year for the wide dissemination of USB 3.0, and that in 2011 the market will be many high-performance motherboards supporting the new standard, most likely, new laptops, external drives and other devices.

It is still unknown when will be replaced by SB850. In addition, it is suggested that the chipset AMD 890FX and 890GX with SB850 south bridge can support processors AMD Bulldozer, but it is not known for certain.
