ATI / AMD has already released all of their products with support for DirectX 11, scheduled for 2009, and following the model will only be available in 2010. The next year are planned at least two chips and three products. In the fourth quarter of this year, AMD introduced dual-chip graphics card Hemlock, known as the Radeon HD 5970, Cypress XT, that is, Radeon HD 5870, Cypress PRO ─ Radeon HD 5850and the Juniper ─ XT Radeon HD 5770 and Juniper LE ─ Radeon HD 5750.
In the first quarter of 2010 should add two new graphics chip, and three new graphics cards. At the main market will be Redwood XT, 40 nm GPU with support for DX11, which will have to pick a market segment that is currently busy with Radeon HD 4770 and Radeon HD 4670 and the second chip, Redwood PRO, will replace the Radeon HD 4650 in the main segment market.
There will be no surprise if GPUs Redwood will receive the name 56x0. Average market segment will receive a new chip Cedar, and 40 nm model with support for DirectX 11, which should replace the Radeon HD 4350 and Radeon HD 4550. In the first quarter of 2010 GPU Radeon HD 4550, Radeon HD 4350 and Radeon HD 3450 will continue to exist in the lower segment of the market. Cedar, may be released under the name of Radeon HD 55x0 / 53x0, depending on the productivity and marketing solutions ATI.
