Asus company intends to support ultrathin AMD mobile platform is the second generation, known as the Congo, firing on the basis of its regular series laptop Eee PC,12.1 "model 1201T.
Future laptop Asus will include processor AMD Athlon Neo MV40 with a frequency of 1.6GHz, AMD 780M chipset and integrated graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200.Externally Eee PC 1201T looks identical to the Eee PC 1201N, a similar model, made on the basis of dual-core Intel Atom processor with a frequency of 1.6GHz and chipset nVidia Ion.
Eee PC based on the Congo has 12.1 "display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels and fits perfectly into the ultra-thin form factor, its size in the thick spot of 27.3mm and the weight is 3.2kg. Make plans to equip the system 2GB DDR2, Hard drive to 320GB, as well as modules 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but this model will likely not be out HDMI.
