Dual-core mobile microprocessor will stay the cute mark for price performance part even in year 2011. Quad cores for notebooks will boost their market share, but they won’t turn into leading anytime soon.
As division of Sabine notebook act platform AMD plans to launch Llano in year 2011. AMD doesn’t offer lots of facts regarding Llano, but it does state that you can be expecting that the notebook adaptation has two cores, with built-in GPU as well as DDR3 support. Llanos will also unveiling in a quad-core version, but it will mostly aim a few high end notebooks as well as desktop replacement systems, most likely some All-in-one systems as well.
Furthermore, it's well known that performance segment Fusion, codenamed Llano, is a 32nm processor and features a BGA package. Notebook version should also come with APM boost technology, something we suspect is AMD’s version of Turbo on fly overclocking feature which would get AMD back on the competitive track, but again only in 2011.
