SuperSpeed USB 3.0 is about to revolutionize the external storage market and several manufacturers are fighting now for access to part of the cake. The latest in a series Vantec is now launching four new products which all have Super Speed USB 3.0 specification at the top of the list. You start with two USB 3.0 expansion cards, for those without integrated support for the interface. One PCI Express, the other for the mobile format ExpressCard/34.

The two control cards will work with Vantec new external hard drive chassis. The usual Vantec allows the user to choose storage devices but their NexStar 3-series in both the 2.5 - and 3.5-inch format, which opens to both HDD and SSD configurations.
