A few days ago, AMD announced it would make a demonstration of Blu-ray 3D Relief at the CES 2010. The manufacturer has however to be cutting the grass underfoot by rival Nvidia. This has indeed made last week a small group demonstration (300 journalists still) playing Blu-ray in 3D using a GeForce, technology, 3D Vision, 3D LCD screen, Acer and Corel WinDVD.
The 3D content Blu-ray encoded in AVC-MVC (Advanced Video Coding Multi-View Codec) has been decoded in real time by the GeForce. NVIDIA should extend a demonstration at the CES in Las Vegas to be held from 7 to 11 January 2010. The 3D apparently preparing it - finally - to enter into force in our homes?
