The manufacturer VIA has just unveiled two new EPIA motherboards, the EPIA and EPIA-M800-N800. The first is the Mini-ITX format while the second is the Nano-ITX format.

Mini-ITX or Nano-ITX

The EPIA-M800 embeds a VX800 chipset, a chipset Chrome9 integrated graphics (DirectX 9 compatible) and a Nano processor clocked by the 1.2 GHz version - then it has a passive cooling - or 1.6 GHz. There is also a VIA VT1708 audio chipset, a DDR2-667 connector, one PCI slot, one PATA port, two SATA ports, two Gigabit Ethernet controllers, a CompactFlash Type I connector and a DVI output.

In turn, the EPIA-N800 has the same chipset as the M800, but the processor is here a model to 1.3 GHz. A connector SO-DIMM DDR2-667 is present, and two SATA ports, a CompactFlash Type I connector, a Gigabit Ethernet controller and a VGA output. The price and date of availability of these two motherboards are currently unknown.
