Dell has unveiled accidentally that he will soon propose a new 27-inch monitor. The U.S. firm has in effect issued last November 30 the first pilot of an UltraSharp U2711, a model unknown to the battalion. This reference will probably replace the current 2709W. This new screen should be stylistically similar to the UltraSharp U2410 launched last August.

The U2711 is a big change compared to the 2709W; it should indeed be equipped with the IPS panel which team the 27-inch iMac. The LG LM270WQ1 is its name, offers a maximum resolution of 2560x1440 pixels in 16:9 format. It uses LED for its backlight, and should therefore be relatively inexpensive for the IPS course. Dell should equip their new UltraSharp Video Input VGA, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

It will probably be more information on this screen very interesting in the coming weeks. The great unknown is obviously the price, which will be significantly lower than the 1000 euros it must pay now for a 30-inch (2560x1600 pixels). The 27-inch cheapest of our comparator, an LG model, costs less than 350 euros.
