Intel will launch a large number of processors next January 7, 17 in total according to information. Among these, the Core i3, i5 and i7, engraved in 32 nanometers. Designed from the Westmere microarchitecture (Nehalem which succeeds), they will be offered simultaneously for desktop (codenamed Clarkdale) and notebook (Arrandale). The CPU will resume the foundations established by Bloomfield (Core i7, LGA1366, 45 nm) and Lynnfield (Core i5 and i7, LGA 1156, 45 nm) with therefore an integrated memory controller, a PCI Express integrated, and the big novelty an integrated graphics solution. Named Intel HD, it will be derived from the current GMA.
Physically speaking, the heart graphics will not be integrated into the processor die, as is the case with the Atom Pineview, but placed at his side, over where the "CPU" is engraved in 32nm, the GPU l 'is 45 nm. Intel has released two high-definition pictures that clearly show the blend. As part of the CES in Las Vegas (January 7 to 10, 2010) Intel will launch its (many) news, go to a little over two weeks for more details.
