Kingston is a major player in the world the RAM modules and offers the most powerful moment in its HyperX line. The Californian firm, however, suffers a small problem; it never proposes strips "the world's fastest. There is a good reason; Kingston checks before the release of a new reference that it is stable in all circumstances, which thus ensures that all modules produced will this frequency on all platforms capable of supporting.
According to Kingston, most of its competitors do not make such an effort, and simply confirm their maximum speed in one test condition on a single platform. If it is hard to confirm the assertions of the first independent manufacturer of memory module, criticized the methodology seems quite real, since some manufacturers do not hesitate to confirm this by offering modules dedicated to a single platform, in specific conditions ( and much stricter than usual).
Kingston is about to respond with HyperX strips topped with a water-cooling system. No specific information has been revealed yet, it will probably wait for the CES in Las Vegas (January 7-10, 2010) to discover what form Kingston intends to market these modules, but you can easily guess that it will the most efficient range HyperX! The manufacturer could therefore have found a way to reconcile its validation criteria with frequencies as high as possible.
