The Taiwanese Sparkle has announced two new GeForce GT 220/240 low profiles. Sparkle offers two graphics cards in its range more low profiles. We have here the recent GeForce GT 220 and GT 240. Usually keep a chip DirectX 10.1, engraved in 40 nanometers, offering 48 or 96 stream processors and 1GB of DDR3 connected via a bus 128 bits. The GT 220 is clocked at 625/1360/1580 MHz (core, shader and memory) while the frequency of the GT 240 are 550/1340/1580 MHz.

Physically speaking, the GeForce have a small heat sink sufficiently thick, so they require two slots. He remains quiet, with noise of 27.3 decibels at most. Sparkle offers the usual trio of video outputs, VGA, DVI and HDMI. The two new graphics cards from the Taiwanese manufacturer will be fine for HTPC use, largely because of their low consumption. PureVideo HD technology allows easy decoding of the largest video stream. Sparkle did not say when and at what price these two innovations are proposed.
