Psystar has decided to remove the Rebel EFI, its tool to facilitate the installation of Mac OS X on a configuration has not been designed in Cupertino.
The end of Rebel EFI
Utility $ 50 (approx. € 35) was not included in the decision of Judge Alsup for reasons of legal proceedings ("Psystar loses Apple wins"). Psystar was not forced to withdraw from the market, but the judge had clearly understood that the sale of such a program was not legitimate and that the Mac clone would very probably wrong if the Rebel was the EFI subject of a specific trial. Psystar said on its website that it would ask the judge to clarify the situation, but we found no expert thinking that the software avat a chance to be absolved by a court.

In addition to this measure, Psystar has already withdrawn all its computers in its catalog. His website is pretty empty and offers primarily sell t-shirts when it is printed "I filed a complaint against Psystar ... and everything that I had an injunction is rotten" (I sued Psystar ... and all I got was a lousy injunction) in reference to the lawsuit against Apple. It is also possible to purchase a gift to the firm from $ 20 (approx. € 14) $ 100 (approx. € 70).
We know that Psystar will convert into Linux machine manufacturer. Meanwhile, Apple has managed to send a strong message by showing that recent American laws had strengthened his power to restrict the sale of Mac OS X computers to hit an apple.
