According to the latest plans to release, Intel is not going to make several 32nm quad-core microprocessors in 2010. Make plans next year to sell only quad made on the basis of architectures or Lynnfield Nehalem, based on a 45nm development technology. At present there are no signs that in 2010 the innovative 32nm quad-core microprocessor will be liberated.
The foremost 32nm dual-core microprocessor will be a hybrid, including two 32nm cores with a 45nm graphics core on an individual chip. At the end of the first quarter of 2010, Intel is all set to release its second 32nm model, six-core Gulftown, extreme high-performance CPU, which ultimately will turn into a family of Core i7 will be called Core i7 980X.
During 2010, this processor will be the most high-performance desktop processor, Intel, at least if you believe the latest version of plans for issuance of Intel. However, if the vendor is afraid of the new AMD processors, it may issue a shestiyadernik with greater frequency. It is possible to judge now, AMD will not be a winning combination in 2010, and the Core i7 980X, is likely to be the processor with the highest frequency, and will only Intel in the market.
After 2010, the next generation 32nm processors, there will be quad-core models. At least, it is very expected.
