In addition to its Core i3 / i5 and Pentium G6950 "Clarkdale, Intel has unveiled 11 new mobile versions, codenamed" Arrandale. These Core i3, i5 and i7 are in all cases of dual heart with HyperThreading. The memory cache is 4 MB on the Core i7-600 and 3 MB on i5 and i3. Except these, all have a Turbo mode. The TDP will vary depending on the versions, the versions posted 35 million watts, 25 watts versions SM and UM down to 18 watts.

The Arrandale have two additional functions vis-à-vis Clarkdale, the possibility to switch on the fly the incorporated graphics solution with additional graphic card (Windows Vista and 7 only) and the presence of a Turbo mode on the GPU. More precisely, it is a driver that will serve as an arbitrator in the distribution of surplus power available. If you think the first tests, performance is rapidly increasing, but no gain in terms of autonomy is expected. The Core i3, i5 and i7 "Arrandale" are supplemental supply of mobile Intel and presents itself as a perfect solution for a usual laptop.
