Thread: G. Skill launches DDR3 to 2.4 GHz

There is a little over a month; Corsair unveiled the fastest DDR3 in the world, with a nominal frequency of 2.25 GHz. desiring to leave the war cadences, G. Skill response today with a module of DDR3-2400, or 2.4 GHz. This kit will be sold in pairs, and is logically distinct processors on Intel Socket LGA-1156.

The latencies are high, which is no surprise, with 9-11-9-28, tension, it remains conventional, with 1.65 volts. G.skill also offers kits of DDR3-2000 CL6, CL7, CL8 and CL9 for smaller budgets, or those who prefer the latency to the frequency. It is unclear when and how the new kits will be offered.
