Mobile processor circuits are red-hot at the moment (fortunately were not literally) and the lead is Qualcomm's Snapdragon circuit including made entrance into phones that HTC HD2 and recently Nexus One. But Snapdragon is also used in laptops, "smart books, which further broadens the market for other players. Marvel would like to be on a corner and has now launched its ARMADA 610-series available in clock speeds up to 1GHz.
ARMADA 610 based on ARM v7 architecture, and in addition has a powerful CPU chip also has a GPU that enables the circuit to output high definition video at 1080p resolution and 3D graphics through OpenGL ES 2.0/1.1 and Open VG.
The chip is meant to be used in everything from smart phones to e-book readers and smaller laptops. Marvell can deliver what we promise in terms of pure performance looks ARMADA 610 clearly look like a worthy competitor to Qualcomm Snapdragon.
