Windows 7 arrives with an extensive list of various system settings and it is not forever the easiest to remember or find any, even if the operating system search aspect makes it much easier than earlier adaptations of Windows. But Microsoft seems to have understood that it might be nice for users to get all the settings in the same place and therefore created a special little trick that has been named "good natured".

Create a folder on your computer and then rename it to;

Next time you open the folder you will find direct links to all of all control settings directly in the folder, which increases ease of use. The name has nothing to do with good-natured trick to do much, but just the name you give the shortcut, but after all, a rather fitting one.

Microsoft itself is not as excited about "good-natured" which is in fact a recognized feature of the operating system. But it does not unavoidably mean that the functionality is worse, MS insists that one should not rely on this work in the long run.
