Crucial has announced its C300, a DSS that will succeed the M225 (based Barefoot Indilinx). This new model, which uses a controller Micron origin (created by Marvell) and associated memory (the 34-nm MLC) reaches 355 MB / s read (presumably 215 MB / s write). Obviously, this record is done using a SATA interface 6 gigabits / s (which, remember, do not transfer 6 GB / s or 750 Mb / s but 600 MB / s, because of the signaling bus SATA). The SSD in question is obviously interesting for a motherboard with an integrated SATA controller 6 gigabits / s (provided by Marvell controller as DSS), a relatively rare today.

Crucial does not have a price for its SSD C300 but indicates that versions 128GB and 256GB are the party.
