Turtle Beach, a company known oldest of you has two soundcards interesting: they suggest an S / PDIF (first) or two jacks (for second), while the USB.

Amigo II and Micro II

The Amigo II is the basic model, with two 3.5mm jacks: microphone input and headphone output (amplified). Designed to connect a headset so simple, it is there for those who have no input on their computers or those who want to avoid passing through the sockets of netbooks notoriously poor quality. The Micro II, sold the same price ($ 25) not only offers a 3.5 mm jack (output) but this is actually a combo, in addition to the conventional analog output, digital output S / PDIF (optical). TOSLINK adapter is supplied for those devices with this type of connector. The S / PDIF, to reiterate, transmit a digital signal and many kits 5.1 (and even some kits 2.1) may benefit from this standard, which avoids interference on the cables.

Both cards will be available soon and will help owners of laptops, generally the poor relations of the PC. Note that the cards work without drivers in the recent Windows (from XP), Mac OS X and Linux.
