Default HP Slate being disclosed at CES 2010

In formal introduction of the ESC 2010, the CEO of Microsoft has set the tone by presenting the HP Slate and talking a lot of touch pads.

Occupied elsewhere, we finally could not attend the opening conference of the ESC held by Steve Ballmer. Finally, we obviously have not missed much, if you believe the rumors circulating corridors here. Two smaller events dotted but the news of the day: details about the confirmed arrival in late 2010, technology Natal on Xbox 360 but also presenting a preview of the HP Slate, the touch pad of the first global manufacturer of computers.

So we lingered a few moments on this HP Slate takes the lead on the likely future islation Apple, then we should see the flowering shelves in the aisles of CES this year ... requires new trend. What is regrettable is that Steve Ballmer has been rather stingy with details. It is known that this is simply a shelf format 10-inch screen equipped with a capacitive multi-touch. A tablet will be delivered with Windows 7, the last operating system from Microsoft. However, no details as to the embedded processor, even if the rumor speaks of the high probability of finding an Intel Atom. Finally, we know that the HP Slate (final name?) Actually released during 2010 at a price incurs stranger.

The CES 2010 will be placed under the sign of the tablet, among others, Steve Ballmer has also introduced two other models of tablets made by Microsoft partners, a model and a model Pegatron Archos. "More powerful than telephones, and almost as much as PCs, these tablets inaugurate new uses for the connected home (...) Perfect for reading the press and access to entertainment," said the CEO of Microsoft. Here is a brief video presentation of the HP Slate.

That's good news but I am much excited about Project Natal and believe that Microsoft will totally take over the gaming industry with it. Sony and Nintendo has to wither come up with something similar soon or start thinking of a good way to sue Microsoft.
