Sony has used the CES to announce two new machines, the Vaio S and Y. For both business clients, they share the same diagonal screen: 13.3 inches.
A Core 2 Duo, Core i5
The first, the Vaio S11 is a complete unit, which comes in two versions. The first (S11V) uses a Core i5 520M (2.4 GHz, 3 MB Cache, 2.93 GHz Turbo) and PGI, a DVD burner, 320GB hard drive and 2 GB of RAM. 3G, a real graphics card (GeForce 310M), 4 to 8 GB of RAM or SSD are optional. It is 900 €. The second Vaio S11X, a recorder of Blu-ray and the original graphics card (70 € on the other model), all for € 1 520. Weighing 2 pounds, the machine has a screen with 1 366 x 768 (LED). The Vaio Y, meanwhile, is a Culver is equipped with a Core 2 Duo SU7300 (1.3 GHz) and has no optical drive. It weighs only 1.78 kilograms and is equipped with a drive of 320 GB and a GMA X4500M HD, all for 800 €.
