AMD actively prepare the return of XGP technology...

A few months ago, Acer launched a new notebook that had the distinction of being equipped with a port XGP. We then speculated about the resurgence of this technology somewhat abandoned by AMD / ATI since 2008. It now appears that the Texas company will soon propose a new case which will now be equipped with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000 or HD 4000! This will always be connected via PCI Express x8 link owner developed by AMD.

The performance would be adequate to run Tom Clancy HAWX on three screens! The novel box has DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort three, and two USB. It needs an external power supply of 35 watts, but seems passive after this we can see the pictures. Hopefully now that a manufacturer will offer this new version of XGP. The former, a reminder proposed by Fujitsu, was equipped with an ATI Radeon HD 3870...
