XFX has been one of NVIDIA's closest partners for 10 years but the cooperation that started in 2001 has in recent days rumored to be on the road to end. Rumors started spreading that Nvidia decided to cut ties with the European graphic card maker when it clears among its partners. After that rooted themselves deeper into the issue, we have new information to the contrary, that XFX is not only one of Nvidia's future partners, but that it was already working on Fermi-based graphics cards.

The data come from very credible sources say that a long been the cooperation that the Nvidia and XFX worked out will not end easily. With thirty different Nvidia-based graphics cards in our range is XFX remains an important partner.

XFXs success with its focus on AMD's ATI Radeon series of graphics cards is guaranteed to put some touch on the relationship with Nvidia. But it is far from the only manufacturer that produces cards from both camps and we believe in the most recent data, which is still not confirmed by XFX or Nvidia, will be so even in the near future.

This is obviously good news for us consumers who get more options on the market, while it also is clear that the development of Fermi in the right direction.
