Predictable to confirm the IEEE 802.16m standard in mid-2010. According to a source close to Taiwanese Corporation of network devices, it will be one of the industry's foremost international standard for 4G.

But, the recent standard is not directly being adopted in all countries of the world. The source notes that many operators of WiMAX, including American operator Clearwire, declared that they would not hurry to obtain the standard 802.16m, while further operators are by now setting up to enlarge the network of 4G. In particular, Russia's Yota operator alleged that he may assist with Samsung Electronics to produce 802.16m networks.

According to data published on the forum WiMAX, to date, about 50 companies have committed themselves to the spread 802.16m technologies.
