AMD is preparing a few more versions of its already busy line of graphics cards DirectX 11 compatible. In the course of the next month we should see land the ATI Radeon HD 5450, HD 5570 and HD 5830.The first reference will occupy the entry level to very low prices, and replace the ATI Radeon HD 4650, HD 4550 and HD 4350. The Radeon HD 5570 will be a step above. Both graphics cards are designed around Cedar, a chip that should have a maximum of 200 stream processors. 512 or 1024 MB GDDR3/GDDR5 accompany this GPU, and will be connected to it via a bus of 64 bits.
These solutions will support the ATI Eyefinity and thus can handle three screens. They are available in Low Profile version and can be passive, with consumption not exceeding 50 watts. They have the Avivo HD is compatible with HDMI 1.3a with audio formats Dolby True HD / DTS Master Audio. They seem to be ideal for home theater PC.
Finally, the Radeon HD 5830 is now expected next February 5. Rumors speak of 1280 stream processors active, with frequencies below those of 5850.
