For fans of Windows 7 and Steve Jobs, the new version of Bootcamp is finally here. This version 3.1, which requires Snow Leopard by Apple to use a Mac with the latest Microsoft operating system. In fact, it was already possible for some time, but some drivers were not available in the Apple program, it was necessary to go download them separately (which was not trivial to some, as maps Wi-Fi).

To install Windows 7, Apple says it is (obviously) a Mac based on Intel architecture and the following machines are not compatible: the iMac Intel white versions 17 and 20 inches (either models or Core Duo Core 2 Duo, except 24-inch White), MacBook Pro with a graphics card AMD Radeon X1600 and Mac Pro with processors in 65 nm. Obviously, an installation "by hand" is obviously possible on such machines.

Another point to consider, Apple only supports Windows 7 in its 64-bit version only on machines with EFI 64-bit or the 13-inch MacBook Pro, the MacBook Pro 15 and 17 inches in their versions Unibody, MacBook White Unibody, 21 and iMac 27 "Mac Pro with processors in 45 nm. As previously mentioned support, it is possible to install a 64 bit system to other machines (if they have a 64-bit) with some more manipulation (the fault by Microsoft, which uses a bootloader requires the EFI 64-bit on the installation DVD).

In fact, Apple simplifies particularly a possibility existed. No doubt that people really wanted Windows 7 on a Mac already had. For others, it is always handy.
